Before & After School Programs

MARY_RIGG_6_18_2019_AWH_5.jpgStudents who participate in before and after school programs perform better in school. They are less likely to drop out of high school, use drugs or engage in criminal behavior. They tend to be physically healthier, and are more likely to attend college.

At Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center we believe in the potential of every child. Our before and after school programs extend the learning opportunities for each student. Programming includes homework assistance, tutoring, recreation time, daily planned activities and special events.

Highlights of our program include:

  • Extended care hours, Monday-Friday -- drop off begins at 6:30am and after school care is available until 5:45pm
  • Full day programming for most out-of-school breaks and holidays
  • Dinner Monday-Thursday, generously provided through the support of Second Helpings
  • Sliding scale fees to keep costs manageable for working families
  • CCDF Accepted
