Computer Training Course


Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center provides an extensive 10-Week Microsoft Office Training Course for adult learners as well as a shorter 5-week Office Professional Class. Students learn new skills and receive support from employment coaches to make them competitive in today's job market.

During the course students will:

  • DSC_0132.JPGLearn basic computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, keyboarding and e-mail)
  • Receive networking tips
  • Create resumes and cover letters
  • Practice interview skills
  • Learn basic office skills, such as operating a multi-line phone system & phone etiquet and using basic office equipment like postage meters, copiers, scanners, and more
  • Receive personal employment coaching and financial coaching
