Meet Ashley Piland

Ashley Piland, Family and Financial Resource Manager

Ashley Piland began working with Mary Rigg Neighborhood Center in July of 2019. Ashley attained a Bachelor of Science Degree from Indiana State University. Ashley has worked with other organizations such as Morale, Welfare and Recreation for the United States Navy, and was a paralegal with the Marion County Prosecutor's Office, Child Support Division. Ashley also served as the Income Supports Coach at Southeast Community Services before becoming their Program Manager and Financial Coach. Currently, as the Family and Financial Resource Manager Ashley has worked with our team in restructuring our financial and income support program to create a better flow to incorporate our youth programs. One of her roles is to advocate for neighbors, letting our legislators know and here the concerns with neighbors such as pushing for policy changes regarding payday lending laws. Ashley is excited to be adding new programming to Mary Rigg in the coming year. Ashley resides on the southeast side with her son and two dogs.
